Meet The Yellow Boxers.Or maybe just "The People Who Work At Yellow Box" is a better title? Either way, we're your new digital marketing team.
CEO & Digital Strategy
Nate founded Yellow Box in 2010. Originally a video production company, he saw the room for growth and expanded gradually into a full-service digital agency. Nate holds a Master’s in Advertising from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where he also lectures on advanced Public Relations strategies and digital advertising from time to time.
He plays the alto (and sometimes tenor) sax, writes a lot (sometimes published), and keeps meaning to start biking to work more. Ask him about any type of music and he’ll have an opinion. Ask him about any drink and he’ll tell you it should be bourbon.
Director of Operations
Matt graduated from the University of Illinois for Civil Engineering and has experience working in Construction, Administration, and Engineering Design. Passionate about ideas and his world travels; he wears fun socks, brews craft beer, and watches baseball in his spare time.
At Yellow Box, Matt uses his analytical background and passion for cool ideas everyday in his role as Account Supervisor and General Manager. Besides harassing the office into using his devious organizational schemes on Slack and Google Drive, Matt oversees internal organization, project management and general operations. Also the all important job of restocking the fridge.
Zeke (Virgo) hails from the warm, friendly country of Texas. After Graduating from Roosevelt University in Chicago, he decided to stick around. With experience working with in the online space for 5 years, his digital journey has taken him from marketing for Chick-fil-A to managing social media for many Chicago-based theatre companies. When he isn’t trolling the internet, Zeke spends his time as a professional actor and photographer in the Chicagoland area.
Aswin is the long-standing webdev guru at Yellow Box, tinkering with website code over a decade. He has an eye for good design, proper user flow, simplified functionality, and the right amount of pizzazz. Aswin obtained his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he helped create and teach the university’s first modern web design and development course.
When he’s not working on websites, Aswin is most likely spinning vinyl at a local club or munching popcorn at the movie theaters. He dabbles in music production, film critique, video game development, and violin.

We don’t say we get things done quickly because that doesn’t always allow for getting things done correctly. But we do get things done promptly, and our agility enables us to roll things out at a great clip.
We’re not so vain as to say they’re great ideas, but what we can say is that they work. And, at the end of the day, when we can report on a decent ROI, we think that’s pretty cool.
We cover everything in-house. No outsourced labor, no endless back and forth. At the end of the day, we’re accountable to you and accountable for our work.
Do you have Slack? Let’s get you in our channel. If not, that’s cool – we’ll still be in touch. We’re not the type of agency that nickel-and-dimes phone calls because at the end of the day, we’re here to support your success.
We're looking to round out our lineup.
We don’t have a full baseball team yet, so that’s pretty much what we’re going for. If you’re a social media manager or marketing assistant, get in touch.
